• Try to describe the type of person you might be interested in meeting? (either romantically or platonically)
  
  The person I am interested in is not an air-head. She is intelligent but not necessarily a brain surgeon. A great sense of humor (must laugh at Howard Stern) but not be a foul mouth. Average to good looks are important but not mandatory. I'm really looking for a person with a big smile on the inside. A lady in good shape that likes to work out would be great. That's all I can think of for now. I'll probably think of other stuff later. I thought of something! NO DRUGS OR SMOKING. I can't stand either. Also, I'd prefer someone without kids unless she is a widow or can convince me that her ex isn't a jerk!
  

• Describe your personality type? What type are you attracted to?
  
  I am patient and very easy going. I like funny stories and jokes, I am attracted to women who are funny. "Dumb blonds" that giggle are a turn off. I am a very logical thinker and would like someone that can add some needed emotion to my life.

• Give a detailed description about yourself?
  
  I am a 34 year old white male. I weigh about 155 lbs..I am a techie guy that deals with electronics and computers. My work is my hobby and I spend a lot of time at it. I enjoy working out and am at the gym almost every day and it shows. I am not a muscle man nor body builder but I am in good shape. The picture that is posted on this board has been shrunk from left to right, causing my face to appear longer than what it is.   I like dogs much more than cats and I like rock music. I am very much a realist and often quite skeptical. I try real hard to always be a "nice guy". I consider myself average looking but you may feel otherwise. Remember I said I am quite skeptical. Sometimes I underestimate things as well. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. You will just have to see for yourself.
  
  I like E-mail cause it keeps me from putting my foot in my mouth!..... (Most of the time). I am a poor speller.

• What's the FIRST thing others notice about you?
  
  Probably the third eye in the middle of my forehead. OK, not really. Might be my soft brown hair. I don't know.

• What would be a perfect 1st date? Would you take the initiative & pay?
  
  I'm open to anything for a first date. I have no hangups about money.......Yea I'd pay.

• Where have you met most of your current friends? If you could choose the ideal friend, what would he/she be like?
  
  The gym and work.

• What type of work do you do and are you enjoying it? For how long?
  
  I work in the technology group at a major telecommunications company in Plano. I like the job and have been there for two years. I work with telecommunications hardware and write software to interface to it. (mostly GUI stuff) My work is quite varied and I often have several projects going at once. Prior to this position I worked at a particle accelerator (physics lab) in Waxahachie.

• Favorite pastime? Hobby? Diversion? Just what goes on Sundays at your place?
  
  Working out at the gym and my computer. I like mountain biking. On Sundays I go for an early workout then relax or do "whatever" during the rest of the day. Sometimes friends want me to fix their electronic something or other. Other Sundays I go to East Texas to visit my Mother and Grandmother. Lateley I've been working on this web site.

• What comedians, TV shows or movies match your sense of humor?
  
  Howard Stern! I'm very aware that most women dislike him. Please understand I enjoy Howard because he tells it like it is. He simply makes me laugh. Please don't dismiss me on this account. I also love Dilbert!

• List some of your favorite lines from movies / poems / songs.
  
  I'm sure there are some only I cant remember them right now.

• Name some of your favorite Actors ? List a few of your all-time favorite movies.
  
  My favorite movie was Top Gun. I like Sci Fi movies Star Wars / Trek and the like. Aliens was also good. Funny movies are good too.

• Name some of your favorite Singers and Bands ? What type of music do you enjoy? Do you go to concerts / performances? List performances you have attended.
  
  Hootie & The Blowfish, Collective Soul, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Steely Dan, Queen, Tom Petty, Bush & lots of others. I don't listen to country but grew up with it. I hate rap!

• What kind of magazines/newspapers/books do you read? Favorite authors?
  
  I read lots of trade magazines. I like John Grisham. My mother used to own a bookstore.

• Which radio stations do you most often listen to? Any favorite DJ's?
  
  I listen to 97.1 KEGL the most mainly in the AM. I also listen to Q102 and The edge. I listen to KERA 90.1 alot for The news on All Things Considered and Morning Edition. I love to listen to Car Talk on the weekends.

• What's printed on your favorite T-shirt?
  
  Italia!

• What were your favorite toys as a child?
  
  My computers and electronic kits.

• When you were a child what did you hope you would grow up to be?
  
  Rich!

• Do you collect anything? (e.g. stamps, coins, dust, losers)
  
  T-Shirts from all over and clowns.

• What were your favorite subjects in school? Where did you attend High School and / or College?
  
  My favorite subjects in school were electronics, science and computers. I attended 12 different schools all over the country and overseas.

• If you have any pets, what are they and what are their names?
  
  I don't have a pet now but would not mind having a dog. My mom has a small poodle his name is Flake and I really like him.

• What personal habits of others really irritate you?
  
  Impatience & dishonesty. Women that only want to talk about their old boyfriends!

• What *is* 'SEXY'?
  
  I know it when I see it!

• Which virtues give you most of your self confidence?
  
  I know that I can make anything happen that I want badly enough.

• If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
  
  Learn to pay attention to lifes details that I don't notice.

• What would you like for your birthday?
  
  To grow younger not older.
  

• You have just won a state lottery for $115 million. (It could happen!) What would you do with it? And where?
  
  Invest it and keep working. I like my work.

• What's your dream car and its color?
  
  I'm not impressed by cars.

  I was born in Arlington, TX. I've lived all over..... Montana, Oregon, New Jersey, Saudi Arabia, Tennessee, East Texas, Georgia, Western Pennsylvania.

• Have you ever accomplished anything that got your name on television, radio, in a magazine or newspaper? What was it you did?
  
  I wrote a letter to the editor once in support of the Superconducting Super Collider project. It got published........I must admit that this isn't very exciting but the question was asked and so I answered it.

• How would you characterize your political leanings? (e.g. Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Independent, radically left/right, don't give a ...)
  
  Republican!

• What do you have hiding under your bed ?
  
  Nothing!
